Anjali Torvi grew up in Australia between Melbourne and Sydney. By ethnicity, she is Indian, particularly from a place in the South called Dharwad. I am a fashion model and university student who is studying for a Bachelor of Business and Information Systems. My hobbies include boxing and singing, and I am obsessed with podcasts. Recently the topic I am focussed on is listening to podcasts about brain health and neuroscience. I listen to business podcasts, too, such as ‘How I Built This with Guy Raz” and “Diary of a CEO” where I learn about today's entrepreneurs, and I find their journeys fascinating. In the future, I would love to start my own business. I find myself to be a strong leader with plenty of ideas. I would also love to go into acting and find the craft fascinating!! I have passions for philanthropy, which include women’s health education, and I hope to go to India and work with organisations to provide sanitation resources to women. In addition, I would love to teach young people about the importance of education in all forms through university, or reading, and even watching YouTube videos. My major is economics, and one of my favourite topics is game theory, which is an important topic to study to understand optimal decision-making. My favourite food is a simple idli sambar and chutney. I love chaats and my favourite is pani puri.
